- Route vehicle interior electrical wiring harness (1) as shown from right D-pillar and top right roof paneling.
Do not kink the vehicle interior electrical wiring harness (1) and ensure it is routed without chafing.
This prevents damage.
- Fasten vehicle interior electrical wiring harness (1) in sections using cable ties to factory-installed electrical wiring harness.
- Remove ventilation scoop (16) using
long wedge.
- Unscrew nut from right D-pillar ground point (W29/10).
- Route ground line (4) from vehicle interior through cable opening in right D-pillar to outside.
Do not kink the ground line (4) and ensure it is routed without chafing.
This prevents damage.
- Attach ground line (4) to right D-pillar ground point (W29/10).
- Secure ground line (4) to right D-pillar ground point (W29/10) using nut
.
- Install ventilation scoop (16).
- Attach power supply electrical line (2) of vehicle interior electrical wiring harness (1) to power supply electrical line (9) of liftgate electrical wiring harness.
This creates the right tailgate electrical connection 2 (X8/46).
- Attach camera electrical line (3) of vehicle interior electrical wiring harness (1) to camera electrical line (8) of liftgate electrical wiring harness.
This connects right liftgate electrical connection 4 (X8/57).

- Route vehicle interior electrical wiring harness (1) as shown along top right roof paneling, under front headliner (14) up to driver-side footwell.
Do not kink the vehicle interior electrical wiring harness (1) and ensure it is routed without chafing.
This prevents damage.
Make sure that the vehicle interior electrical wiring harness (1) does not touch the front headliner (14). This will prevent interference.

To do this, pass the vehicle interior electrical wiring harness (1) through the opening in the partition wall (13) at the top.
- Fasten vehicle interior electrical wiring harness (1) in sections using cable ties to factory-installed electrical wiring harness.
- Install CAN G electrical line (5) in front end CAN (CAN G) potential distributor electrical connector (X304).
- Install CAN electrical line (17) in interior CAN (CAN B) potential distributor electrical connector (X301).
- Route radio electrical line (6) of vehicle interior electrical wiring harness (1) as shown to radio (Audio) (N87/2).
Do not kink the radio electrical line (6) and ensure it is routed without chafing.
This prevents damage.
- Route fuse and relay module electrical line (7) of vehicle interior electrical wiring harness (1) as shown up to firewall fuse and relay module (K40/11).
Do not kink the fuse and relay module electrical line (7) and ensure that it is routed without chafing.
This prevents damage.
- Secure radio electrical line (6) and fuse and relay module electrical line (7) section by section to factory-installed electrical wiring harness using cable ties.
- Install fuse and relay module electrical line (7) in firewall fuse and relay module (K40/11).
- Connect radio electrical line (6) to radio (Audio) (N87/2).
