1. Mark separation point and cut (area A).

   Transfer separation point from vehicle.

2. Drill holes for MAG welding (areas B to G).

   In areas which were bonded during removal and now fastened by MAG welding, maintain a spot weld interval of 5 cm.

   Otherwise the strength and stability of the components can be impaired.

3. Punch holes for MAG welding (area H).
4. Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in crosshatched area and around holes (areas I to O).
5. Remove shavings and drill chips.
