Inner A-Pillar Reinforcement Partially Cut Off - Ar63.20-S-1109-01E

1. Scribe separating points and cut (areas A and B).

   Do not make the cuts too deep. Otherwise the components below can be damaged and weakened.

2. Expose spot welds on inner A-pillar reinforcement (2) and cut out (areas C to G).

   Cut out spot welds on both sides (area G).

3. Bend open sheet metal lug (area G).
4. Remove damaged inner A-pillar reinforcement (2).
5. Sand down mating surfaces to bare metal in crosshatched areas.

   Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

6. Remove shavings and drill chips.
7. Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
