Outer Rear Wheel Well Section Removal - Ar63.10-S-0660-02E

Model 447, 448 

The following steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be performed analogously on the right side in the event of damage.

1. Mark separating point on outer rear wheel well (1) and cut (area A).
2. Remove damaged outer rear wheel well (1).
3. Mark separating points and cut (areas B and C).

   Do not make the cuts too deep.

   Otherwise the components below can be damaged and weakened.

4. Expose spot welds on outer rear wheel well (1) and cut out (areas D to F).
5. Remove sections from outer rear wheel well (1).

6. Sand down mating surfaces to bare metal in crosshatched areas.

   Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

7. Remove shavings and drill chips.
8. Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
