Refer to the superordinate service document for further information. Safety information in superordinate service document must be observed.

1. Mark separating point on the new sidewall paneling part (1) (area A).
2. Cut separating point from the new sidewall paneling part (1) (area A).

   Transfer separation point from vehicle.

3. Punch holes for MAG welding on sidewall paneling (2) (area B).
4. Grind mating surfaces on the sidewall paneling (2) down to bare metal in the cross-hatched areas and around the holes (area B).

   Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

5. Remove shavings and drill chips.
6. Apply zinc dust paint to the insides of the spot weld flanges.

8. Grind mating surfaces on the sidewall paneling (2) down to bare metal in the cross-hatched areas and around holes (area C).

   Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

9. Remove shavings and drill chips.
10. Apply zinc dust paint to the insides of the spot weld flanges.
