Do not touch bonding surfaces with bare fingers and bonding surfaces must be free of dust, oil, grease, wax, dirt residues and other adhesive components.

Bonding surfaces must be masked off before painting.

In the installed condition, adhesive bead (1) must overlap on entire body flange by dimension (d), as shown, in painted area (A) of body flange The instructions for preparing the body flange must thus be complied with.

- Clean body flange.
Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.
- Mask off bonding surfaces on the body flange with tape (2) as shown.
Dimension (b) must be uniformly present on entire body flange in order to comply with adhesive bead overlap area (c).
If dimension (b) is incorrect
