- Mark separation point and cut (area A).
- Remove damaged sections from vehicle floor (4), front kick panel front section (5), longitudinal member (6) and longitudinal member reinforcement (7).
- Scribe separating point and cut (area B).
Do not cut too deeply.
Otherwise the components below can be damaged and weakened.
- Expose spot welds on remaining front vehicle floor (8) and remaining front kick panel front section (9) and cut out (areas C to I).
Cut out spot welds (arrows) through two panel thicknesses.
- Heat remaining front vehicle floor (8) in crosshatched areas.
Crosshatched areas are bonded.
- Remove remaining front vehicle floor (8).
- Scribe separating point and cut (area J).
- Expose spot welds on front kick panel rear section (10) and crossmember (11) and cut out (areas K and L).
- Expose MAG weld seam on crossmember (11) and cut (area M).
- Remove front kick panel rear section (10), crossmember (11) and remaining front kick panel front section (9).
- Expose spot welds on remaining inner longitudinal member (13), remaining outer longitudinal member (14) and remaining longitudinal member reinforcement (15) and cut out (areas N to S).
Cut out spot welds (arrows) through two panel thicknesses.
- Remove remaining inner longitudinal member (13), remaining outer longitudinal member (14) and remaining longitudinal member reinforcement (15).
- Expose spot welds on remaining wheel well with longitudinal member (16) and cut out (areas T to Z and AA).
Cut out spot welds (arrows) through two panel thicknesses.
- Expose spot welds on remaining wheel well with longitudinal member (16) and cut out (areas AB and AC).
- Expose spot welds on remaining wheel well with longitudinal member (16) and cut out (areas AD to AG).
- Heat remaining wheel well with longitudinal member (16) in crosshatched areas (areas AH and AI).
Crosshatched areas are bonded.

Heat remaining section of wheel well with longitudinal member (16) in crosshatched area (area AH1 ).
Crosshatched area is bonded.
- Remove remaining wheel well with longitudinal member (16).
- Drill holes for MAG welding (areas AJ to AM).
- Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas and around holes (areas AN and AO).
- Remove shavings and drill chips.
- Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas and around holes (area AP).
- Remove shavings and drill chips.
- Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.
- Remove shavings and drill chips.
- Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.
- Remove shavings and drill chips.
