1. Cut seven, approx. 10 cm long, fastening elements out of removed old filler profile (2).
2. Transfer markings on removed boot (1) to new boot (1).

   If boot (1) is replaced.

3. Mark center of front profile rail (3).
4. Align markings on boot (1) with markings on profile rails (3) and hook boot (1) from outside into profile rails (3).

   The rear seam of the boot (1) is not located in the center due to design.

5. Install cut fastening elements on front center, front side, left, right and rear side.

   

   Model 447.8

   with code ZK0 (EASY UP pop-up roof, electric)

   Install front fastening element offset next to guide rail.

6. Mark center of new filler profile (2).
7. Spray lubricant to filler profile (2).
8. Align center of filler profile (2) with marking made on front profile

   rail (3), remove front fastening element and install filler profile (2) on front from outside in profile rail (3) with roller.

9. Uniformly install boot and filler profile (2) toward rear into profile rail (3) on roof paneling with roller and long wedge starting at front.

   Remove fastening elements one after another.

   Observe installation position (arrows) of filler profile (2).
