MECHANICAL POP-UP ROOF

Loosen nuts (3) on both sides.
Align rear edge of pop-up roof (1) with lateral axis (z) of vehicle roof.
For this purpose adjust the two upper mounts on set-up brackets (2) in relation to the lateral axis (z) of the vehicle roof. The upper mounts must in the same position in relation to one another.
Tighten nuts (3) on both sides .

Loosen bolts (5).
Align rear edge of pop-up roof (1) with lateral axis of vehicle roof.
For this purpose move both lower brackets on rear pop-up struts (4) opposite to one another in the direction of the roof spoiler longitudinal axis (x) until the front edge of the pop-up roof (1) is centered in relation to the lateral axis (z) of the vehicle roof. The alignment with the longitudinal axis (x) of the roof spoiler should then coincide.

Tighten bolts (5) .
Shown on right side of vehicle
Close pop-up roof (1).
Align pop-up roof (1) with lateral axis of vehicle roof (6).
For this purpose check centered alignment and gap width.

The gap width should be equal at front and rear on both sides of the vehicle (arrows).
