Remove
- Cover working area around support plate (8) with adhesive tape.
- Mark assembly position of support plate (8).
- Remove support plate (8) from side wall (13) with suitable tool.
- Cut back remaining adhesive on side wall (13) and support plate (8) down to approx. 1 mm.
Do not leave more than 1 mm. Pull off loose glue (residues not completely cut off).
Prevents paint adhesion problems.
Install
- Prime contact surface on side wall (13) and support plate (8).
- Apply adhesive bead to bottom of support plate (8).
Otherwise the adhesive effect may be impaired.
- Position support plate (8), align and press on.
Observe marking.
- Fasten support plate (8) with adhesive tape.
