| 2 | Disconnect electrical connector (1) from door lock (5) | ||
| 3 | Remove electrical connector (2) from door module (5) | Model 447, 448 with code FZ8 (Convenience opening and closing w. IR remote ctrl.) | |
| 4 | Remove cable (3) from door lock (5) and remove door lock (5) together with bearing bracket (4) from door module | ||
| 5 | Release catch hook (arrow A) and remove bearing bracket (4) in the direction of the arrow from door lock (5) | ||
| 6 | Remove cable (6) from bearing bracket (4) | ||
| 7 | Remove actuator rod (7) from door lock (5) | When removing door lock (5) on driver's side. | |
| Install | |||
| 8 | Install actuator rod (7) on door lock (5) | When installing door lock (5) on driver's side. | |
| 9 | Install cable (6) on bearing bracket (4) | ||
| 10 | Slide bearing bracket (4) onto guide of door lock (5) until catch hook (arrow A) engages | ||
| 11 | Install cable (3) on door lock (5) | ||
| 12 | Fasten electrical wiring harness (2) on door lock (5) | Model 447, 448 with code FZ8 (Convenience opening and closing w. IR remote ctrl.) | |
| 13 | Connect electrical connector (1) to door lock (5) | ||
| 14 | Position and tighten door lock (5) together with bearing bracket (4) in front door | AR72.10-S-0900E | |
| 15 | Install outer door handle in front door | AR72.10-S-2400E | |

| 16 | Check function of door lock (5), bearing bracket (4) and outside door handle | If malfunction is present ↓ Check that mounting and connection components are correctly seated. |
