Electrical line or electrical wiring harness damaged
The following procedure must be observed when performing repair work on electrical lines and electrical wiring harnesses:
In order to determine the cause of the failures in detail, please create an informative TIPS case up to headquarters in the meantime.
The following information shall be attached to the TIPS case:
Detailed customer complaint before repair work,
Printout of XENTRY DAS or XENTRY Diagnostics quick test,
Workshop inspection findings:
- Printout of WIS circuit diagram with precise marking of damaged line or damaged wiring harness.
- Exact damaged spot of electrical line or electrical wiring harness.
- Type of damage (scuffed, sheared off, poor contact, etc.)
- Cause of damaged electrical line or damaged electrical wiring harness.
- Pictures of damaged electrical line or damaged electrical wiring harness at damage location with clear labels.
Workshop measure for rectifying problem.
The title of the TIPS case must bear the name "Repair of electrical line/electrical wiring harness".
