Install Rear Fender - AR63.50-P-1400-04GQS

MODEL 166.0 with CODE Z04 (Light armoring) 

1. Install rear fender (1), trunk lid, rear door, taillamp and seal and fit.
2. Check and adjust gap dimensions.
3. Fix rear fender (1) in place.
4. Remove trunk lid, taillamp and seal.
5. Drill Ø 6.7 mm rivet holes in rear fender (1) (area L).
6. Countersink rivet holes (area L).
7. Deburr rivet holes am rear fender (1) on both sides.
8. Coat insides of riveted joints with zinc dust paint.
9. Install rubber window spacers from glazing repair kit as spacers on outer rear wheel well at uniform intervals.
10. Apply sealant to outer rear wheel well, C-pillar, D-pillar and foam parts (areas M₁ , M₂ , M₃ and M₄ ).
11. Install rear fender (1), fit and fix in place.
12. Rivet rear fender (1) with Ø 6.4x14 countersunk head rivets (area Q).
13. Rear fender (1) (areas R, S, T, W, X, Y and Z).
14. Rear fender (1) (areas N and V)
15. Rear fender (1) (areas O, P and U).

    Inert gas weld in intervals, allow to cool down in between to minimize heat distortion (areas O, P and U).

16. Grind inert gas welds down flat on rear fender (1) (areas O, P and U).
17. Clean welds on rear fender (1).
18. Fill surface of inert gas welds on rear fender with filling solder and smooth.
19. Remove shavings using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
