Check battery management system control unit (N82/2) using diagnostic system
- Start diagnostic system.
- Switch on ignition.
- Establish communication with battery management system control unit (N82/2).
- In battery management system control unit (N82/2), select menu item "Fault codes and events" and check fault memory for following fault codes:
- P0AA700 → The ohmmeter for insulation resistance in the high-voltage battery module has an electrical fault.
If the listed fault code is (P0AA700) currently present, then the insulation measurement must be conducted in the BMS (at Actuations). If the measurement result is OK, the fault code can be ignored. If the measurement result is not OK, secure transportation of the high-voltage battery module is no longer permissible. In this case, the responsible MPC/general distributor should be contacted.
- P0A1F00 → There is an internal fault in the battery control unit.
- P0A7E00 → The high-voltage battery module has overtemperature.
- P142900 → There is a battery-internal insulation warning in the high-voltage battery module.
If one of the listed fault codes (item 1 to 4) is current , there is an internal fault and safe transport of the high-voltage battery module is no longer permissible . In this case, the responsible MPC/general distributor should be contacted.
- P0E7400 → There is a battery-internal insulation fault in the high-voltage battery module.
If the listed fault code (item 5) is current or stored , there is an insulation fault and safe transport of the high-voltage battery module is no longer permissible . In this case, the responsible MPC/general distributor should be contacted.
- P0AA100 → The positive terminal contact of the contactor in the high-voltage battery is jammed closed.
- P0AA400 → The negative terminal contact of the contactor in the high-voltage battery is jammed closed.
If one
of the listed fault codes (item 6 or 7) is current
, safe transport of the high-voltage battery module is permissible, taking all other assessment criteria into account, provided that the high-voltage connections are equipped with voltage-proof caps tat are additionally fixed in place using fabric tape.
If both
fault codes (item 6 and 7) are current
, safe transport of the high-voltage battery module is no longer permissible
. In this case, the responsible MPC/general distributor should be contacted.
