	Remove/install
1.1	Remove front bumper	For removal of left center front parking system distance sensor (2), left inner front parking system distance sensor (3), right inner front parking system distance sensor (4) and right center front parking system distance sensor (5).
		Model 292 with code 235 (Active Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC)	AR88.20-P-2000GQC
		Model 166.0, 166.8 (except 166.874) as of model year 2016 with code 220 (PARKTRONIC) with code 235 (Active Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC) Place front bumper on a clean, soft mat. Otherwise soiling and damage can occur.	AR88.20-P-2000GQ
1.2	Detach front section of fender liner in front fender	Model 166.0, 166.8 (except 166.874) as of model year 2016 with code 220 (PARKTRONIC) with code 235 (Active Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC) For removal of left outer front parking system distance sensor (/1) or right outer front parking system distance sensor (/6).	AR88.10-P-1310GQ
2	Unfasten clips (12) and remove impact absorber (11)	For removal of left center front parking system distance sensor (2), left inner front parking system distance sensor (3), right inner front parking system distance sensor (4) and right center front parking system distance sensor (5).
	Check
3	Check impact absorber (11) for pressure marks and cracks	For removal of left center front parking system distance sensor (2), left inner front parking system distance sensor (3), right inner front parking system distance sensor (4) and right center front parking system distance sensor (5).
	General information on the impact absorber		AH88.20-P-1000-01A
		Replace if damaged.
4	Press retaining lugs (7) in direction of arrow and remove corresponding distance sensor (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) from bracket (8)	Ensure correct installation position of decoupling ring (10). Otherwise, the distance sensor (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) may malfunction.
5	Disconnect Electrical connection (9)
6	Install in the reverse order
7	Check operational readiness of Parktronic by switching on ignition, engaging reverse gear and releasing parking brake	The PARKTRONIC automatically performs a self-test and the operational readiness is signaled via the warning indicator.
