Check Warning And Function Indicator Lamps In Instrument Cluster - AP54.30-P-5451B

  Preparatory tasks     
1 Switch electronic ignition lock control unit to position "2" (circuit 15) IMPORTANT Close the engine hood, the liftgate and all doors.  
2 Operate parking brake    
INSPECT Check     
3 Check warning lamps (9, 11, 12, 13, 15, 17, 20) and indicator lamps (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 14, 16) for proper operation If there are problems:

Rectify problem subject to separate repair order.
 
4 Manually switch on low beams IMPORTANT The low beams indicator lamp (4) must light up and a lamp failure message must not be displayed in the multifunction display (21).
If there are problems:

Rectify problem subject to separate repair order.
 
5 Switch on high beam IMPORTANT The high beams indicator lamp (3) must light up and a lamp failure message must not be displayed in the multifunction display (21). If there are problems:

Rectify problem subject to separate repair order.
 
6 Switch on rear fog lamp IMPORTANT The rear fog light indicator lamp (5) must light up and a lamp failure message must not be displayed in the multifunction display (21).
If there are problems:

Rectify problem subject to separate repair order.
 
7 Engage reverse gear and press service brake IMPORTANT There must be no lamp failure message in the multifunction display (21)
If there are problems:

Rectify problem subject to separate repair order.
 
8 Switch on hazard warning system IMPORTANT The left and right turn signal light indicator lamps (1, 2) flash in unison in the multifunction display.
If there are problems:

Rectify problem subject to separate repair order.
   
9 Switch off hazard warning system    
  Finishing activity     
10 Switch electronic ignition lock control unit to position "0"
