Task 

The parking system control unit evaluates the information from distance sensors at the front and rear of the vehicle. The distance sensors detect obstacles in front of and behind the vehicle. If an obstacle has been detected, the parking system control unit generates the warning according to the distance between the vehicle and the obstacle.

The parking system control unit uses the side distance sensors at the front to search for suitable parking spaces. Detected parking spaces and a selection of different parking options are displayed to the driver.
