| 2 | Switch electronic ignition lock control unit to position "2" (circuit 15) | Vehicle in which the wiper arms (1) cannot be folded down sufficiently far enough from the windshield. | |
| 3 | Switch on windshield wipers of windshield | Vehicle in which the wiper arms (1) cannot be folded down sufficiently far enough from the windshield. | |
| 4 | Switch electronic ignition lock control unit to position "0" | Vehicle in which the wiper arms (1) cannot be folded down sufficiently far enough from the windshield. Do not switch on electronic ignition system control unit as long as the wiper arms (1) of windshield or rear window are folded out. Damage can otherwise occur. Remove KEYLESS-GO chip card or transmitter key from vehicle and keep outside transmitter range (at least 2 m (78.74 inch)). |
