Remove/Install Display In Rear - AR82.60-P-7720GQC

with CODE 864 (Rear compartment entertainment package)

NOTES Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge   AH54.00-P-0001-01A
REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Connect diagnostic system and save basic data from left rear display (A40/5) or from right rear display (A40/6) Only when replacing the left rear display (A40/5) or the right rear display (A40/6).  
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS AD00.00-P-2000-04A
2 Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key    
3 Move head restraint (1) on front seat up    
4 Unclip cover (2) (arrows) NOTES
Carefully unclip cover (2).
Otherwise, the cover (2) can be damaged.

5 Remove bolts (3)    
6 Disconnect electrical connections (4)    
7 Remove left rear display (A40/5) or right rear display (A40/6) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Note the assembly position of the left rear display (A40/5) or the right rear display (A40/6) on the bracket (5). The bracket (5) is hooked into the left rear display (A40/5) or the right rear display (A40/6) (arrow).  
8 Install in the reverse order    
  Initial startup     
9 Carry out SCN coding of left rear display (A40/5) or of right rear display (A40/6) Only after replacing the left rear display (A40/5) or right rear display (A40/6).

10 Transfer previously saved basic data to the left rear display (A40/5) or the right rear display (A40/6) Only after replacing the left rear display (A40/5) or right rear display (A40/6).
