Prepare Outer Sidewall - AR63.10-P-0805-02GQC

MODEL 292 

The following steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be accomplished analogously on the right side in the event of damage.

1. Scribe separating point on outer side wall (1) and cut out (areas A and B).

   Transfer separating points from vehicle (areas A and B).

2. Cut separating points on outer side wall (1) (areas A and B).
3. Remove outer side wall remaining section (1).
4. Grind mating surfaces on outer side wall (1) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas.

   Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

5. Coat insides of spot welding flanges with zinc dust paint.
