The bonding area must be free of dust and grease. Otherwise the adhesive force of the adhesive material starts to decrease.

Only use materials from repair kit approved and always observe processing notes included. Otherwise the adhesive force of the adhesive material starts to decrease.

Cut down present glue beads on bonding surfaces (1) to a height of approx. 1 mm to max. 2 mm.
Do not leave more than 2 mm of the existing adhesive beads.
Remove remaining pieces not cut off completely from adhesive beads.
If installed.
Remove cutting residues from panoramic sliding roof frame (2).
Repair paint damage on panoramic sliding roof frame (2).
Use only primer filler and paints approved by Daimler AG.
Primer Apply primer to bonding surfaces (1) where no remaining adhesive is present.
