The work procedure is shown on the right side of a left-hand drive vehicle and must be performed in the same fashion on the left side of the vehicle.
- Clean contact surface in area (A) with cleaner.
The area to be glued must be free of dust and grease.
- Starting at the removing aid (4), pull off protective foils of adhesive strips.
Do not touch adhesive strips with fingers. Otherwise adhesion problems may occur.
- Align right front illuminated door sill molding (E17/48) to longitudinal member (13) and secure.
- Route electrical line (6) over longitudinal member and, as shown, fix in place using felt strips (7).
The 2-pin plug (5.2) will be connected at a later stage.
