Detach oil line
The area surrounding the separation point should be cleaned thoroughly before opening the hydraulic system.
Even minute particles of dirt in the hydraulic components can result in malfunctions and total failure of the hydraulic system.
- Detach dust cap (3) and push back along the transmission oil line (1) until the connector (2) is accessible.
- Position suitable tool at one end of the securing clamp (2a), detach from connector (2) and pull transmission oil line (1) out of connector (2).
Seal off line connections using
stop plugs.
- Pull dust cap (3) off transmission oil line (1).
Install oil line
The safety clamp (2a) must be replaced after every disconnection of a transmission oil line (1).
- Insert securing clamp (2a) into in a cutout (2b) of connector (2) and then push in direction of arrow until securing clamp (2a) fully engages in connector (2).
The safety clamp (2a) must not be pushed straight over the connector (2).
The securing clamp (2a) will otherwise be overstretched and correct sealing of the line connection can no longer be assured.
- Push dust cap (3) onto the transmission oil line (1).
- Introduce transmission oil line (1) straight into the connector (2) until it audibly and noticeable latches.
- Push dust cap (3) onto connector (2).
If it is not possible to push the dust cap (3) over the connecting point, either the transmission oil line (1) is not fully engaged in the connector (2) or the retaining clamp (2a) is stretched.
