  Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A

INSPECT Check     
3 Check wheel bearing by firmly pulling, pushing and turning the wheels If there are problems:

Repair the problem, subject to separate repair order.
 
4 Check rear axle carrier (1) for cracks, deformation and corrosion If there are problems:

Repair the problem, subject to separate repair order.
 
5 Check rear axle carrier elastomer bearing (2) for cracks, deformation and wear and for play by firmly tugging and pushing If there are problems:

Repair the problem, subject to separate repair order.
 
6 Check lower wishbone control arm (3) for cracks, deformation and corrosion If there are problems:

Repair the problem, subject to separate repair order.
 
7 Check elastomer bearing on lower wishbone control arm (4) for cracks, deformation and wear, then check for play by firmly pulling and pushing If there are problems:

Repair the problem, subject to separate repair order.
 
8 Check rear-axle differential elastomer bearing (5) for cracks, deformation and wear and for play by firmly tugging and pushing If there are problems:

Repair the problem, subject to separate repair order.
 
9 Check rear axle differential (6) for cracks, deformation, leaktightness and corrosion If there are problems:

Repair the problem, subject to separate repair order.
 
10 Check stabilizer bushings (7) for cracks, deformation and wear then check stabilizer bar (8) for play by firmly pulling and pushing If there are problems:

Repair the problem, subject to separate repair order.
 
11 Check stabilizer bar (8) for correct seating, cracks, deformation, corrosion and for play If there are problems:

Repair the problem, subject to separate repair order.
 
12 Check tie rod elastomer bearing (9) for cracks, deformation and wear, and for play by firmly tugging and pushing If there are problems:

Repair the problem, subject to separate repair order.
 
13 Check tie rod (10) for correct seating, cracks, deformation, corrosion and for play If there are problems:

Repair the problem, subject to separate repair order.
 
14 Check shock absorber elastomer bearing (11) for cracks, deformation and wear, then check for play by firmly pulling and pushing If there are problems:

Repair the problem, subject to separate repair order.
 
15 Check clamps (12, 14) of inner drive shaft boots (13) for cracks, deformation, corrosion and correct seating If there are problems:

Repair the problem, subject to separate repair order.
 
16 Check strut rod elastomer bearing (15) for cracks, deformation and wear and for play by firmly pulling and pushing If there are problems:

Repair the problem, subject to separate repair order.
 
17 Check strut rods (15a) for correct seating, cracks, deformation, corrosion and for play If there are problems:

Repair the problem, subject to separate repair order.
 
18 Check clamps (16, 18) of outer drive shaft boots (17) for condition and seating If there are problems:

Repair the problem, subject to separate repair order.
 
19 Check outer drive shaft boots (17) for condition, leaktightness and correct seating. If there are problems:

Repair the problem, subject to separate repair order.
 
20 Check camber strut elastomer bearing (22) for cracks, deformation and wear, and for play by firmly tugging and pushing If there are problems:

Repair the problem, subject to separate repair order.
 
21 Check camber struts (22a) for correct seating, cracks, deformation, corrosion and for play If there are problems:

Repair the problem, subject to separate repair order.
 
22 Check shift rail joint boots (19) for proper condition, leaktightness and correct seating If there are problems:

Repair the problem, subject to separate repair order.
 
23 Check shift rail joints (20) for play by firmly pulling and pushing If there are problems:

Repair the problem, subject to separate repair order.
 
24 Check level sensor linkage (21) for correct seating, cracks, deformation, corrosion and play If there are problems:

Rectify problem subject to separate repair order.
 
25 Check lower supporting joint boots (25) of lower wishbone control arm (3) for condition, leaktightness and correct seating If there are problems:

Rectify problem subject to separate repair order.
 
26 Check lower supporting ball joints for play by pulling and pushing firmly on the lower wishbone control arm (3) If there are problems:

Rectify problem subject to separate repair order.

27 Lower vehicle with lifting platform
