	Remove/install
1	Remove engine air intake duct upstream of air filter	When removing the upper oil line feed line on the left (1l) and upper oil line feed line on the right (1r)
2	Disconnect electrical connections on the left or right exhaust camshaft Hall sensor	When removing the upper oil line feed line on the left (1l) and upper oil line feed line on the right (1r)
3	Remove screw/bolts (3) or screw/bolts (5) on cylinder head cover and upper oil line feed line on the left (1l) or upper oil line feed line on the right (1r) from cylinder head cover	When removing the upper oil line feed line on the left (1l) and upper oil line feed line on the right (1r)
		Seal openings with stop plugs. Replace sealing ring of the upper oil line feed line on the left (1l) or upper oil line feed line on the right (1r).
		Bolt, oil line to exhaust gas turbocharger/cylinder head	*BA09.40-P-1003-01R

4	Drain engine oil and catch in a suitable container	When removing the lower return flow oil line on the left (2l) or lower return flow oil line on the right (2r)

5	Remove alternator	When removing the lower return flow oil line on the right (2r)	AR15.40-P-5032MLJ
6	Detach refrigerant compressor and lay with in engine compartment at the front with lines connected	When removing the lower return flow oil line on the left (2l) Secure refrigerant compressor against falling down.
		Screw/bolt, refrigerant compressor to timing case/crankcase/engine support	*BA83.55-P-1001-01M
7	Remove screw/bolts for the heat shield on lower return flow oil line on the right (2r) or lower return flow oil line on the left (2l)	When removing the lower return flow oil line on the right (2r) or lower return flow oil line on the left (2l) Bolt, heat shield to exhaust gas turbocharger/cylinder head	*BA09.40-P-1007-01R
8	Remove screw/bolts (4) or screw/bolts (6) on ATL and remove lower return flow oil line on the right (2r) or lower return flow oil line on the left (2l) from ATL	When removing the lower return flow oil line on the right (2r) or lower return flow oil line on the left (2l) Plug openings. Replace seal. Bolt, oil return line to turbocharger/oil pan	*BA09.40-P-1004-01R

9	Remove screw/bolts (4) or screw/bolts (6) on oil pan and remove lower return flow oil line on the right (2r) or lower return flow oil line on the left (2l) downwards	When removing the lower return flow oil line on the right (2r) or lower return flow oil line on the left (2l) Plug openings. Replace seal. Bolt, oil return line to turbocharger/oil pan	*BA09.40-P-1004-01R

10	Install in the reverse order

11	Check engine oil level; correct if necessary

	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
12	Carry out an engine test run, checking the engine for proper operation and leaktightness
