	Remove
1	Remove rear wheel		AR40.10-P-1102A
2	Detach thrust arm (1) from wheel carrier (2)	The screwdriver bit is to be used when a bolt with a multi-socket tooth profile is fitted.

3	Use a suitable screwdriver (3) to secure thrust arm (1) against folding up	Clamp a rag (4) between the thrust arm (1) and the wheel carrier (2). Otherwise, the wheel carrier (2) will be damaged.
4	Grease spindle of extraction and insertion tool (6) with rolling-element bearing grease
	High temperature antifriction bearing grease (NLGI grade 2)		BB00.40-P-0265-01A

5	Position extraction and insertion tool (6), as shown, onto wheel carrier (2) and elastomer bearing (5)	Make sure that the extraction and insertion tool (6) is seated correctly.

6	Pull elastomer bearing (5) out of wheel carrier (2) in direction of arrow and remove
	Install
7	Grease spindle of extraction and insertion tool (6) again with rolling-element bearing grease

8	Position extraction and insertion tool (6) with new elastomer bearing (5) on wheel carrier (2) as shown	Make sure that the extraction and insertion tool (6) is seated correctly.

9	Draw elastomer bearing (5) in direction of arrow into wheel carrier (2)	Only pull in the elastomer bearing (5) until the protrusion at the wheel carrier (2) is the same on both sides. The elastomer bearing (5) must be seated in the center of the wheel carrier (2).

11	Remove screwdriver (3) and rag (4)
12	Attach thrust arm (1) to wheel carrier (2)	The screwdriver bit is to be used when a bolt with a multi-socket tooth profile is fitted.
