| 2 | Remove cover on center exhaust gas flap actuator motor (M16/55) and release and disconnect electrical connector. | ||
| 3 | Remove underfloor panels. | AR61.30-P-1001LW | |
| 4 | Remove cover above stiffener (3). | ||
| 5 | Remove stiffener (3). | *BA61.10-P-1004-01L | |
| 6 | Release electrical connectors on right exhaust flap actuator motor (M16/54) and left exhaust flap actuator motor (M16/53) and disconnect. | ||
| 7 | Remove clamps (1). | The exhaust system (8) must be aligned so that it is free of tension before tightening the threaded connections. Otherwise, leaks in exhaust system (8) will occur. |

| 8 | Remove exhaust system (8) from the elastomer bearings (5, 7) and remove downward. | Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 l |

| 9 | Check elastomer bearings (5, 7) for wear and damage. | If problems exist, ↓ Replace corresponding elastomer bearing (5, 7). |

| 10 | Remove combustion and corrosion residues from separating points. | ||
| 11 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
| 12 | Check installation position and clearance of the exhaust system (8). | If a problem arises, ↓ re-align exhaust system (8). |

Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. | Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself.
