	Risk of injury  due to fan starting unexpectedly	Do not reach into the rotation or hazard area of the fan. Wear closed and close-fitting work clothes.	AS20.40-Z-0001-01A
	Remove/install
1	Eliminate vacuum in BAS brake booster (A7/7)	To do this, press the brake pedal several times with the engine switched off.
2.1	Remove cylinder head cover trim	MODEL 117, 156, 176, 246 with ENGINE 607 MODEL 117, 156, 176, 246 with ENGINE 651

2.2	Remove engine cover	MODEL 117, 156, 176 with ENGINE 133 MODEL 117, 156, 176, 242, 246 with ENGINE 270
3	Pull vacuum line (1) with check valve (2) out of seal (3) of BAS brake booster (A7/7)	Check seal (3) and replace if necessary.
4	Remove engine air intake duct downstream of air filter	MODEL 117, 156, 176, 246 with ENGINE 607, 651
		MODEL 176, 246 with ENGINE 607	AR09.10-P-8130ORA

5	Unclip vacuum line (1) from engine wiring harness	MODEL 117, 156, 176, 246 with ENGINE 651
6	Unlock retaining clip (5) and expose vacuum line (1)	MODEL 242 with ENGINE 780
7	Disconnect vacuum line (1) from connection fitting (4) and remove vacuum line (1)
8	Install in the reverse order
9	Carry out brake test on the test stand
