1	Remove right paneling from C-pillar	Model 156	AR68.30-P-4490NKX
		Model 242, 246	AR68.30-P-4490NKB
2	Remove left and right paneling from B-pillar		AR68.30-P-4700NKB
3	Remove left and right paneling from A-pillar		AR68.30-P-4050NKB
4	Remove cover (2)
5	Remove overhead control panel control unit		AR82.20-P-1000NKB
6	Remove left and right sun visor		AR68.60-P-5480NKB
7	Remove front and rear grab handle from roof		AR68.30-P-4330NKB
8	Remove side paneling in left side of luggage compartment	Model 156	AR68.30-P-4800NKX
		Model 242, 246	AR68.30-P-4800NKB
9	Fold over folding rear seat backrests
10	Completely move driver and passenger seat toward front and completely lay backrests down toward rear
11	Lower headliner (1) and remove through trunk	Do not kink or bend headliner (1) excessively. Otherwise the headliner (1) can crack or break. Removal:  The headliner (1) is held in the center and rear area on the center roof paneling by magnets (5). Helper required. Tilt headliner (1) to side as shown in Fig 2 and remove to trunk.
12	Remove covers (3)	Model 156, 242, 246 When replacing roof paneling (1).
13	Remove rear parking system warning indicator (A44/3)	Model 156, 242, 246 with code 220 (PARKTRONIC) Model 156, 242, 246 with code 235 (Active Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC) When replacing roof paneling (1).
14	Remove left sun visor mirror lamp (E14/1) and right sun visor mirror lamp (E14/2)	Model 156, 242, 246 with code U62 (Exterior light and sight package) When replacing roof paneling (1).
15	Remove left front mirror lamp switch (S101) and right front mirror lamp switch (S102)	Model 156, 242, 246 with code U62 (Exterior light and sight package) When replacing roof paneling (1).
16	Remove electrical wiring harness (4)	When replacing roof paneling (1).
17	Prepare roof paneling (1) for installation	When replacing roof paneling (1).
18	Glue absorber element to headliner (1)	Model 156, 242 with code 460 (Canada version) Model 156, 242 with code 494 (US version) The absorber elements are parts relevant for certification. If headliner (1) is replaced: ↓ install new absorber elements.
19	Install in the reverse order
