	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A

1	Clean connecting points of oil cooling lines (2, 2a, 6)	Before starting the work, the area around the oil cooling lines (2, 2a, 6) must be cleaned thoroughly in the area of the connecting points on the transmission.
2	Remove relevant section of the underfloor paneling		AR61.30-P-1001GQ
3	Detach temperature sensor upstream of diesel particulate filter and place to one side	ENGINE 642, 651

4.1	Remove engine air intake duct upstream of air filter housing	ENGINE 276.9, 642, 651
4.2	Remove right engine air intake duct upstream of air filter housing	ENGINE 157, 276.8, 278

5.1	Detach front oil cooling lines (2) from transmission cooler (1)	ENGINE 157, 276.9, 278, 642, 651

		Always disconnect/connect the feed line with the white marker ring (2w) from/to the upper transmission cooler connection; always disconnect/connect the return line with the black marker ring (2s) from/to the lower transmission cooler connection. Do not kink or bend oil cooling lines (2). Leaks and damage can otherwise occur. Collect escaping transmission oil using a suitable container and seal the line connections using stop plugs.

		Collect escaping transmission oil using a suitable container and seal the line connections using stop plugs. Install new seals.

12	Detach rear oil cooling lines (6) from thermostat (5) and remove		AR27.10-P-0501-03RT
		Collect escaping transmission oil using a suitable container and seal the line connections using stop plugs.

13	Unscrew bolt (7) and remove thermostat (5)	Detach the bracket from the thermostat (5) if necessary.

14	Install in the reverse order
15	Check transmission oil level and correct if necessary		AR27.00-P-0270W
		Follow the prescribed work procedure exactly and observe the Specifications for Operating Fluids. The transmission will otherwise be damaged.
	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
16	Test run engine and check transmission for leaktightness and proper operation
