Check all visible parts in engine compartment for damage and leaks - AP00.20-P-0055A

DANGER Risk of death  when touching components on vehicles with high-voltage on-board electrical system Do not touch components and open lines of the high-voltage on-board electrical system. Persons who wear electronic implants (e.g. cardiac pacemakers), must not  carry out any work on high-voltage on-board electrical systems. AS54.00-Z-0001-01A

REMOVING Remove     
1 Remove front engine compartment paneling on right (1) and left (2) by turning the rotary catches (6)    
2 Remove rear engine compartment paneling on right (3) and left (4) by pulling the expansion clips (5)    
INSPECT Check     
3 Check that visible systems and components in engine compartment are in good condition, are not leaking and are attached securely IMPORTANT
  • Engine and bolted-on major assemblies and exhaust system
  • Hybrid components (equipment specific)
  • Cooling system
  • Heater and air conditioning system
  • Fuel system
  • Steering
  • Brake system

If there are problems:
↓
Rectify problem subject to separate repair order.
 
4 Check that visible lines and hoses in engine compartment are in good condition, are not leaking, are routed correctly and are attached securely IMPORTANT
  • Engine and bolted-on major assemblies and exhaust system
  • Hybrid components (equipment specific)
  • Cooling system
  • Heater and air conditioning system
  • Fuel system
  • Steering
  • Brake system
  • Clutch operating system
  • Electrical components

If there are problems:
↓
Rectify problem subject to separate repair order.
 
5 Check visible systems, components and body panels, lines and hoses in engine compartment on vehicle for damage, routing, leaks, mounting and corrosion   AP00.20-P-0054C
INSTALLING Install     
6 Install rear engine compartment paneling on right (3) and left (4) and fasten with expansion clips (5)    
7 Install front engine compartment paneling on right (1) and left (2) and fasten with rotary catch (6)
