	Remove/install
1	Open engine hood and raise to vertical position	Model 166, 212, 218, 251, 292 with engine 276

2	Remove engine cover (5)
3	Remove intake manifold	Model 166, 212, 218, 251 with engine 276.9

4	Remove left air filter housing (6)	Model 212 with engine 276.8	AR09.10-P-1150ELS

5.1	Remove center bulkhead (78)	Model 212, 218, 251 with engine 276

5.2	Remove center and right sections of bulkhead	Model 166, 292 with engine 276
6	Remove left noise insulation (8)	Model 166, 212, 292 with engine 276.8 Ensure correct seating of the left noise insulation (8).
7	Detach vacuum line (2) at vacuum pump (1).
8	Detach vacuum hose (4) from vacuum pump (1)
9	Remove bolt (3)	Replace bolts (3).
		Bolt, vacuum pump to cylinder head/cylinder head cover	*BA43.05-P-1001-01K
10	Remove vacuum pump (1) upwards	Clean sealing surfaces and replace gasket. Note position of drive plate for vacuum pump (1) during assembly.
11	Install in the reverse order
12	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Test run engine and carry out leak check	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
