	Remove/install
	Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts	Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts. Deburr repair panels.	AS00.00-Z-0017-01A
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1	Switch off ignition
2	Remove cover (1) on bumper
3	Pull DISTRONIC electric controller unit (A89) out of bracket	The DISTRONIC electric controller unit (A89) is engaged with three ball studs in the bracket.
4	Install in the reverse order
5	Adjust STAR DIAGNOSIS and adjust DISTRONIC electric controller unit (A89)	Adjustment of the DISTRONIC electric controller unit (A89) is necessary after: Replace Remove/install Mechanical damage Accident repairs in front end Alterations in the camber, track width, caster or of the level of the vehicle at the front or rear axle Adjusting device	AD00.00-P-2000-04A
