	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
	Risk of injury  to skin and eyes due to handling of transmission oil. Health risk caused by swallowing transmission oil	Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses. Do not pour transmission oil into beverage bottles.	AS00.40-Z-0001-01A
	Preparatory activity
1	Lift vehicle with lifting platform.	Vehicle must be horizontal. Otherwise, the transfer case is not correctly filled and an incorrect oil filling capacity can lead to fluid loss and property damage.	AR00.60-P-1006A
	Clean
2	Clean area surrounding drain screw (2) and filling screw (3).
	Remove
3	Remove filling screw (3).
	Drain off
4	Remove drain screw (2) and drain oil from transfer case (1).	Collect escaping oil in a suitable container. Damage can otherwise occur.
	Clean
5	Clean threaded holes in transfer case.	Loctite 7063 (400 ml) cleaning spray	*BR00.45-Z-1046-04A
	Install
6	Tighten new drain screw (2).	Replace drain screw (2) each time it is removed. Otherwise, this may lead to fluid loss and consequential damage.
		Drain screw to transmission housing	*BA28.40-P-1001-01A
	Pour in
7	Fill transfer case (1) with transmission oil up to lower edge of threaded hole of filling screw (3)	Filling capacity	*BF28.10-P-1001-01B

	Clean
8	Clean threaded hole of filling screw (3) in transfer case.	Loctite 7063 (400 ml) cleaning spray	*BR00.45-Z-1046-04A
	Install
9	Tighten new filling screw (3) on transfer case (1).	Replace filling screw (3) each time it is removed. Otherwise, this may lead to fluid loss and consequential damage.
		Oil filler screw to transmission housing	*BA28.40-P-1002-01A
	Finishing activity
10	Lower vehicle with vehicle lift.		AR00.60-P-1006A
