General Information On Vehicle Level Measurement - AR40.00-P-0202XG

Model 463 

as of model year 2019 

INSPECT Check     
1 Check condition of vehicle. IMPORTANT For the vehicle level check, all vehicle parts must be installed and the vehicle completed and in a ready to drive condition. Do not load the vehicle.  
2 Visually inspect tires for wear and damage; visually inspect tire tread.    
3 Visually inspect rims for damage.    
4 Check and correct tire pressure.    
5 Visually inspect vehicle underside for damage, corrosion to suspension, chassis and supporting body panels, and leaks at major assemblies and lines.    
6 Raise vehicle at side at jack support point and check wheel bearing play without dial indicator. NOTES
Do not raise the vehicle at the axles. Otherwise the axles will be damaged.

REFER TO MAINTENANCE
Check condition of mechanical steering components.   AP46.00-P-4651GA

REFER TO MAINTENANCE
Check front axle joints for play and check seal bellows for damage.   AP33.10-P-3358GA

REFER TO MAINTENANCE
Check rear axle joints for play and check seal bellows for damage.   AP35.20-P-3552GA

REFER TO MAINTENANCE
Check condition of shock absorbers and springs.   AP32.25-P-3255GA
11 Drive vehicle onto measuring station and secure against rolling away. IMPORTANT The vehicle lift must be horizontal at the measuring position.  
12 Move vehicle to driving level.
