Adjust Concentricity Of Drive Flange - AR35.30-P-4671-01GW

  1. Mark collar nut (2) and flange (1) relative to the pinion shaft.
  2. Release and unscrew collar nut (2).
  3. Pull off flange (1)

    NOTES Under no circumstances should the flange (1) be removed with the aid of heavy hammer blows. Otherwise the tapered roller bearings may be damaged.

  4. Check flange (1) for damage and score marks, replace if necessary.

  5. Mount flange (1) clockwise and offset, then check for concentricity.

    IMPORTANT When moving for first time, install flange (1) offset through 180° clockwise.

    When moving for second time, install flange (1) offset through 90° clockwise.

    When moving for third time, install flange (1) offset through 180° clockwise.

    The deviation to total concentricity must not be greater than the specified value, if necessary replace flange (1).

  6. Unscrew old collar nut (2) up to the marking applied previously.
