Attach torque meter to flange (9).
Crank bevel gear via special tool and read off the friction torque in the process.
Tighten the nut (8) more securely until the right friction torque is reached.

The friction torque must never be adjusted by turning back the nut. If the nut is overtightened, a new compression ring must be installed.
