	Risk of injury  to skin or eyes from hydraulic fluid spraying out under pressure. Risk of poisoning  from swallowing hydraulic fluid.	Depressurize hydraulic system completely before starting any work on it. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses.	AS00.00-Z-0013-01A
	Remove
1	Remove engine cover (1)	Vehicle with engine cover (1) over expansion reservoir (2).
	Clean
2	Clean area surrounding cap (3) on expansion reservoir (2)	Before opening the hydraulic circuit of the power steering, thoroughly clean the surrounding area of the separation point. Even minute particles of dirt, introduced into the hydraulic components, can result in malfunctions and damage to the power steering.
	Remove
3	Remove cap (3) of power steering expansion reservoir (2)
4	Wipe oil dipstick (4) with lint-free rag and seal expansion reservoir (2) with cap (3)
	Check
5	Remove cap (3) and read off oil level on oil dipstick (4)	Observe oil temperature and markings on oil dipstick (4). Corresponding to the oil temperature, the oil level must be between the "Min." and "Max." marks. In order to avoid measurement errors, hold oil dipstick (4) upright. If the oil level is too low or too high: ↓ Rectify problem subject to separate repair order.
	Install
6	Seal expansion reservoir (2) with cap (3)
7	Install engine cover (1)	Vehicle with engine cover (1) over expansion reservoir (2).
