Do not reach into rotating parts. 

Wear closed, close-fitting work clothing. 

Secure areas of rotating vehicle parts and test stand rollers against unauthorized access. 

Secure the roller dynamometer against unauthorized use. 

Risk of death or serious injury 

Rotating parts can cause serious injuries  in the area of the running engine, the drive train as well as the rotating test bench rollers and vehicle wheels. When working on the roller dynamometer, areas that cannot be viewed from outside must be secured against unauthorized access and unauthorized entry by means of suitable shielding (e.g. barriers, protective grids).

Rules of conduct / protective measures 

• In principle, the general safety regulations for roller test stands must be observed.
• Wear closed, close-fitting work clothing.
• Take off jewelry (e.g. chains, rings, etc.).
• Wear suitable headgear if you have long hair.
• Roller dynamometers may only be operated within their performance limits.
• When the roller dynamometer is running and ready for operation, nobody is allowed to be in the danger area of the rotating wheels, shafts and test stand rollers.
• During the test, the driver's seat may only be left in an emergency.
• Unused roller dynamometers must be secured against unauthorized use by locking the main switch.
• In the case of roller dynamometers with an integrated work pit, this must be secured after use.
