Do not reach into rotating parts. Wear closed, close-fitting work clothing. Secure the area of rotating vehicle parts against unauthorized access. 

Risk of death or serious injury 

Rotating parts in the area of the running engine and drive train can cause dangerous injuries  .

When working on rotating axles that are driven, the opposite wheel hub also rotates. At this point, a hidden danger area  is created which must be secured against unauthorized access.

Rules of conduct / protective measures 

• Wear closed, close-fitting work clothing.
• Take off jewelry such as chains, rings, etc.
• Wear suitable headgear if you have long hair.
• Secure hidden danger areas against unauthorized access by means of suitable shielding (e.g. barriers, protective grids).
