	Risk of death or serious injury  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A

1	Turn transmitter key in electronic ignition lock control unit to position "0"
2	Open engine hood
3	Check that systems and components in engine compartment are in good condition, are not leaking and are fitted securely	Check the following systems and components for damage or leaks: Engine and installed major assemblies Cooling system Heater and A/C Fuel system Exhaust system Steering Brake system In the event of damage or leaks: ↓ Rectify any damage subject to separate repair order.
4	Check lines and hoses in engine compartment are in good condition, are not leaking and are fitted securely	Pay attention to chafing marks and routing. Check lines and hoses of following systems for damage or leaks: Engine and installed major assemblies Cooling system Heater and A/C Fuel system Exhaust system Steering Clutch operating mechanism Brake system In the event of damage or leaks: ↓ Rectify any damage subject to separate repair order
5	Raise vehicle with vehicle lift

6	Check that systems and components on the underfloor are in good condition, are not leaking and are fitted securely	If damage or leaks are established on the following systems and components, these faults should be eliminated subject to a separate repair order: Engine and installed major assemblies Cooling system Heater and A/C Fuel system Steering Automatic transmission Manual transmission Clutch operating mechanism Transfer case Front axle Rear axle Exhaust system BlueTEC emission control system Shock absorbers at front and rear axle Brake system
7	Check that lines and hoses on the underfloor are in good condition, are not leaking and are fitted securely	Pay attention to chafing marks and routing.
