| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Remove bracket for low-temperature circuit coolant expansion reservoir. | AR09.41-P-0017XGC | |
| 2 | Release and disconnect electrical connectors (1, 4). | ||
| 3 | Unclip retaining clip (7) from cylinder head cover and place wiring harness to one side. | ||
| 4 | Unclip the bracket (5) from the crash plate. | ||
| 5 | Remove screw/bolts (6). | *BA15.10-P-1001-04D | |
| 6 | Detach ignition coil for cylinders 5 + 6 (T4/2) upwards and remove. | ||
| 7 | Detach ignition coil for cylinders 7 + 8 (T4/3) upwards and remove. | ||
| 8 | Check ignition coil for cylinders 5 + 6 (T4/2) and ignition coil for cylinders 7 + 8 (T4/3) for damage. | If there is a problem, ↓ Replace ignition coil for cylinders 5 + 6 (T4/2) and/or ignition coil for cylinders 7 + 8 (T4/3). |

| 9 | Approx. Apply about 1 g of spark plug connector grease to the spark plug connector. | Otherwise the spark plug connectors will be damaged upon renewed removal. |
