| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (at least 2 m). | ||
| 2 | Unclip cover at front (1) from inside rearview mirror (A67) (arrows A). | Fig 2 | |
| 3 | Pull rear cover (2) on inside rearview mirror (A67) in direction of arrow (B) out of the guides. | ||
| 4 | Disconnect the electrical connector (3). | ||
| 5 | Release spring elements (4) (arrow) and remove. | ||
| 6 | Remove mono multifunction camera (A40/11) from holder. | Do not touch the lens of the mono multifunction camera (A40/11). Soiling will cause the mono multifunction camera (A40/11) to malfunction. |

| 7 | Install in reverse order. | ||
| 8 | Calibrate mono multifunction camera (A40/11) using vehicle diagnosis system. | ||
