Component description for electronic selector lever module control unit - GF27.60-P-5163AHC
TRANSMISSION 722.9 in MODEL 207 up to model year 2014
Location
The electronic selector lever module control unit is located in the center console between the two front seats.
View of center console, shown on model 207.3 as of model year 11/AEJ 10
Task
The electronic selector lever module control unit records the positions of the selector lever (non-contact) using inductive sensors.
The selector lever positions and touch shifts carried out are detected in a non-contact manner by means of optoelectronic switches. A photoelectric barrier is closed or interrupted each time the position of the selector lever is changed.
Controller Area Network (data bus/CAN bus) (CAN)
The electronic selector lever module control unit is connected via the drive train CAN (CAN C) to the vehicle's CAN network, and exchanges data with other control units.
