	Remove/install
	Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
	Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.	Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.	AS20.00-Z-0001-01A

2	Remove center section of upper engine cover
3	Remove ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) from mount on intake manifold and place to one side with electrical lines connected		AR07.08-P-7008ELB
4	Detach boost pressure positioner (Y77/1) and place with attached lines to one side		AR07.17-P-7002ELB
5	Unscrew cap on the coolant expansion reservoir low-temperature circuit (1)	Turn cap slowly and release overpressure, then unscrew cap.
6	Remove bottom engine compartment paneling		AR61.20-P-1105EW
		Only mount bottom engine compartment paneling after leak check.
7	Drain coolant in low-temperature circuit

		The coolant drain screw for the low-temperature circuit is located in the low-temperature circuit hose package at the front right in engine compartment.
8	Loosen clamp from vent line (4) and detach vent line (4) from coolant expansion reservoir low-temperature circuit (1)
9	Unclip electrical connection (2) on bracket
10	Remove screw/bolts (3) from coolant expansion reservoir low-temperature circuit (1)
11	Unlock quick-release coupling from coolant hose (5) (arrow) and detach upper coolant line (5) from the coolant expansion reservoir low-temperature circuit (1)
12	Install in the reverse order

13	Check low-temperature circuit cooling system for leaktightness	MODEL 207	AR20.00-P-1010FH
		MODEL 212, 218 Attach tester cap to coolant expansion reservoir low-temperature circuit (1) and apply the test pressure to the low-temperature circuit.	AR20.00-P-1010EL
	Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
14	Conduct engine test run and check cooling system low-temperature circuit for leaktightness
