	Checking
1	Detach vacuum hose on the aneroid capsule (1, 2 or 3) to be checked
2	Attach vacuum pump to hose connection for aneroid capsule (1, 2 or 3)	Hand vacuum pump	Figure
		Vacuum tester	Figure
3	Build up a pressure of about 700 mbar	If a pressure buildup is not possible or the built up pressure drops, replace aneroid capsule (1, 2 or 3). See: ↓
		Remove/install aneroid capsules on turbocharger	AR09.40-P-1002CD
4	Attach vacuum hose to hose connection for aneroid capsule (1, 2 or 3)
