1. Connect black, 32-pin coupling (5) of Universal Media Interface adapter wiring harness (3), coupling for LVDS display wiring harness (15.2) of LVDS display wiring harness (15) and coupling for LVDS head unit wiring harness (16.2) of LVDS head unit wiring harness (16), as shown, to Universal Media Interface control unit (1).

2. Remove air duct (26)

3. Route cable ties through holes (arrows A) and holder (arrow B).

   The cable ties are then used to fasten the Universal Media Interface control unit (1).

4. Route Universal Media Interface adapter wiring harness (3), LVDS display wiring harness (15) and LVDS head unit wiring harness (16) to the Universal Media Interface control unit (1) and fasten in place using felt tape (24) as shown.
5. Install Universal Media Interface control unit (1), as shown, and fasten in place using previously positioned cable ties (23).

   Route cable ties through attachment points on Universal Media Interface control unit (1) and tighten.

   The Universal Media Interface control unit (1) must be fixed so that any noise development is prevented.

6. Route excess length of Universal Media Interface adapter wiring harness (3), of LVDS display wiring harness (15) and LVDS head unit wiring harness (16) behind the floor covering on the passenger-side (25) in loops.
7. Place glove box (22) into footwell on passenger-side.

8. Connect blue, 4-pin coupling for connecting cable (2.2) and black, 18-pin coupling for connecting cable (2.1) of connecting cable (2) to Universal Media Interface control unit (1).
9. Connect red GPS antenna coupling (18.1) of GPS antenna wiring harness (18) to Universal Media Interface control unit (1).

10. Install air duct (26).
