Retrofit Drive Kit Plus Media Interface adapter line for Apple iPhone - AZ82.60-P-0019-05EWA

MODEL 212.0/2 as of 6/1/11 as of model year 2012 with CODE 518 (Media interface)

The following operation steps describe installation in a left-hand drive vehicle. With right-hand drive vehicles, these operation steps must be carried out mirror-inverted.

1. Fold up armrest (51) of center console (50).
2. Make markings for the drill center point in the center console (50).

   Dimensions: 

   c = 15 mm

   D = 20 mm

3. Drill hole with a diameter of 19 mm.

4. Route Drive Kit Plus Media Interface adapter line (27) through hole at center console (50) to device installation frame of audio component.

   Use a pull-through device.

   The white 4-pin plug (29) of the Drive Kit Plus Media Interface adapter line (27) is connected to the white 4-pin connector of the Drive Kit Plus adapter wiring harness at a later stage.

5. Install grommet (4) into the hole of the center console (50).
6. Connect consumer line (52) to the Drive Kit Plus Media Interface adapter line (27).
7. Connect consumer line (52) to the Media Interface electrical connector (X18/70).
