	Install
1	Remove battery compartment cover from COMAND remote control, insert batteries included in the package contents into COMAND remote control and close battery compartment cover again
2	Place COMAND remote control at suitable position in vehicle
	Update Vehicle Documentation (VeDoc)
3	Enter special equipment in on-line vehicle data card	Code 816 (Entertainment remote control)
4	Attach note "Remote control retrofitted as per AN82.85-P-0010EW " under field organization texts to design group 82
5	Connect diagnostic system and select vehicle via the vehicle identification number (VIN)
			AD00.00-P-2000-04A
6	Carry out variant coding using software calibration number (SCN)	"Head unit"
7	Disconnect diagnostic system
			AD00.00-P-2000-04A
	Check
8	Perform function test	See Owner's Manual.
