The following operation steps describe work on a left-hand drive vehicle. With right-hand drive vehicles these operation steps must be carried out mirror-inverted.

1. Fold side floor covering to one side.
2. Cut out insulation mats (33, 34) in cross-hatched area corresponding to the exterior contours of the Drive Kit Plus control unit.
